Meta has launched a new advertising feature designed to improve the efficiency of advertisers’ product promotion. This feature gives advertisers a certain degree of flexibility to ensure that users can be directed to the most appropriate landing page regardless of whether they click on the ad through a computer, mobile browser or mobile app.

In the past, advertisers needed to set up multiple campaigns separately to guide users to visit a website or download an app. Now with the new feature, advertisers can seamlessly integrate website links and app download options in the same ad, greatly simplifying the advertising management process and achieving more efficient and centralized advertising operations.

1 Provides two landing page options

Advantage Destination

Through the advantage landing page setting, Meta will automatically guide users to the most appropriate website or application based on their conversion likelihood. If users have not yet installed the relevant app, the system will also intelligently guide them to the app store, thereby automatically optimizing the entire conversion process.

Manual Destination

The manual landing page setting gives advertisers direct control over the user’s browsing path. Advertisers are free to choose to use the website or app as the primary landing page. If they choose the app as the primary landing page, they can also set the website or app store as a backup landing page.

2 Conversion Tracking

Meta will comprehensively track all conversion events, whether these conversions are on the website or in the app. The system will integrate the conversion data of the two channels into a unified campaign view for advertisers to comprehensively analyze.

Meta recommends that advertisers try different landing page options and evaluate their performance through two key indicators (cost per action and number of conversions). This testing method helps advertisers find the landing page settings that best suit their campaigns, thereby improving advertising performance.
