Meta advertising account refers to the account that advertisers need to set up when placing advertisements on the Meta platform. It is usually established after creating a Meta business management account. Advertising accounts need to be opened by agents with relevant qualifications in the corresponding channels. Only after opening an advertising account can advertisements be placed.
1.Specific reasons why Meta advertising accounts were blocked
Reasons for AN blocking: Meta has focused on strengthening the review of advertiser accounts associated with illegal advertisers or business entities since this year. Once the internal system of the media detects that the current account assets are associated with other illegal business assets, or the newly created assets are similar to the disabled business assets, the corresponding accounts will be restricted, and the execution will be expanded to other related assets in the future, including the public homepages, personal accounts or business accounts related to them.
VAN-related assets mainly include: BM, business license, account, homepage, link for next-level placement, App Id, etc.
In order to reduce the account blocking caused by illegal business assets/illegal advertisers/illegal business entities, advertisers (especially customers with many product projects) are requested to do asset management and planning in time. The specific suggestions are as follows:
- Do not use purchased assets: purchased assets are extremely risky. Because it is impossible to determine whether the assets have a history of violations, it is very likely that the assets will be directly blocked due to illegal associations. Secondly, it is also easy to cause fraud and a series of security risks.
- Do a good job of asset isolation: The assets involved in the above VAN should not be used by multiple licenses; it is recommended to use independent assets to reduce the correlation between assets and reduce the risk of joint impact.
- Ensure compliance with delivery: Use compliant materials for delivery to reduce rejection and blocking due to violations of advertising materials and failed appeals, thereby affecting other assets.
- Timely rectification of appeals: If any asset is in violation, restricted or suspended, please rectify the appeal within the effective time; do not let it go or delete it, otherwise it will also affect the stability of the account and its associated assets.
- Regularly clean up risky or unused assets: Regularly check the status of BM or other related assets. If there are resigned personnel or unused long-term risk assets, unbind them in time to protect the current normal use of assets.
Automation – Risk of batch operation in the short term
Why is automation blocked: Meta does not allow advertisers to use unauthorized scripts/third-party tools or other false means to create or use accounts
After series of case studies on current automated blocked accounts, we found that the current automated blocking may be more because advertisers are judged by the media to be too frequent in batches of accounts in a short period of time (including copying, new creation, batch modification of ads, etc.). Of course, there are indeed many normal situations where accounts are blocked by mistake. has also increased its communication with the media to provide feedback in the hope of reducing the impact on normal customers as soon as possible. Before that, we recommend that everyone:
Try to reduce the frequency of using third-party automated auxiliary tools and script tools. If you are not authorized, it is recommended not to use them.
Try to reduce the batch operation of a series of ads. It is recommended to slowly copy the combination and series to avoid being considered as machine operation and being blocked.
After the new account is registered, you can run a few fewer ads first, and then try other operations after it is stable (it is also recommended to reduce the number of batches).
2.Meta Account Complaint Channels
Business Support Center – must be initiated by the account administrator
- Enter the Business Support Center of the blocked account and click on appeal
- Perform human-machine verification
- Enter the email address and perform email verification code verification
- Upload ID
All types of government-issued IDs are acceptable, and must include your name and date of birth or your name and photo

The appeal button is gray and cannot be clicked (it shows that identity verification is required, but the button is gray and there is no channel to submit. You need to ask cc to confirm the specific situation and ask cc to submit the appeal)

The account is blocked in BM, but the business support center shows that the appeal is successful (this is most likely a display bug, and you need to submit cc to confirm the account status. If the account is indeed successfully appealed, please ask cc to help solve the bug problem of the account being blocked)
